E-Commerce Development

E-commerce websites built to sell, scale, and stay yours.

We design and build online stores end to end — storefront, checkout, payments, inventory, and the admin dashboard you run the business from. Custom builds, Shopify and WooCommerce, or migrations from a platform that's holding you back.

What's Included

Everything a working store actually needs.

Not a template with a cart bolted on. These are the systems that decide whether a store runs smoothly at fifty orders a day or starts falling over.

01

Product Catalog & Search

Categories, subcategories, product variants (size, colour, material), attribute filters, sorting, and full-text search. Bulk product import via CSV so you're not adding 500 items by hand.

02

Cart & Checkout

Persistent cart across sessions, guest checkout, address book, shipping rate rules, coupon and discount codes, and tax handling. Fewer steps means fewer abandoned carts.

03

Payment Gateway Integration

Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, UPI, netbanking, and card payments. Webhook-verified payment confirmation, so an order is only marked paid when the gateway actually confirms it.

04

Inventory Management

Real-time stock levels, automatic decrement on order, low-stock alerts, and out-of-stock handling that prevents overselling rather than apologising for it afterwards.

05

Order Management

Order lifecycle from placed to packed to shipped to delivered, with status change notifications, invoice generation, returns and refunds, and shipment tracking integration.

06

Admin Dashboard

One place to manage products, orders, customers, and discounts, with revenue analytics by day, week, and month, plus best-seller and low-performer reporting.

07

Customer Accounts

Registration and login, order history, saved addresses, wishlists, and password reset — all secured with hashed credentials and token-based sessions.

08

Performance & SEO

Server-side or static rendering for product pages, clean crawlable URLs, structured data for products, image optimisation, and Core Web Vitals tuning.

Three Approaches

Custom, platform, or migration.

There's no single right answer — it depends on your catalog, your budget, and how much you expect to change over the next two years. We'll tell you honestly which one fits.

Custom Build

Best when you have specific workflows, unusual product logic, or plan to scale

  • Built in React or Next.js with a Spring Boot or FastAPI backend
  • No monthly platform fees and no transaction cut to a platform
  • Complete freedom over checkout flow, pricing rules, and integrations
  • Full source code handed over — you can take it to any developer

Shopify or WooCommerce

Best when you want to launch quickly with a standard catalog

  • Faster to launch, lower initial cost
  • Custom theme built to your brand, not a stock template
  • App and plugin integration for shipping, accounting, and marketing
  • Ongoing platform fees apply, and customisation has limits

Migration & Rebuild

Best when you already sell online but the current store is holding you back

  • Products, customers, and order history migrated intact
  • URL structure preserved or properly redirected so rankings survive
  • Usually driven by slow load times, poor mobile experience, or platform lock-in
  • Rebuilt on a stack that can actually grow with the business
How We Build It

Six stages, no surprises.

01

Discovery

We map your catalog structure, pricing rules, shipping logic, and payment requirements. Deliverable is a written scope you sign off on before anything gets built.

02

Design

Wireframes and UI design for the storefront, product page, cart, and checkout, plus the admin dashboard layout. Reviewed with you before development.

03

Development

Two-week sprints with a working demo at the end of each. You see progress continuously rather than waiting months for a reveal.

04

Testing

Payment flows tested in gateway sandbox mode, checkout tested across devices and browsers, load behaviour checked, security reviewed.

05

Launch

Deployment, domain and SSL setup, payment gateway switched to live mode, analytics and Search Console configured, then a monitored go-live.

06

Support

Post-launch support window for fixes, plus optional ongoing retainer for enhancements as the store grows.

Common Questions

Questions we get asked before every project.

How much does an e-commerce website cost?

It depends almost entirely on scope. A Shopify or WooCommerce store with a custom theme and a standard catalog sits at the lower end. A fully custom build with bespoke pricing rules, multi-vendor logic, or ERP integration sits considerably higher. We scope properly and quote a fixed figure before starting, rather than giving a number and revising it later.

How long does it take to build?

A platform-based store with a custom theme is typically a few weeks. A custom build is usually a few months depending on feature depth. Migrations vary with how clean the existing data is. We give you a sprint-by-sprint timeline during discovery.

Do I own the code?

Yes. On custom builds the full source code and repository are transferred to you at project completion. You are never dependent on us to keep the store running, and you can hand it to another developer at any time.

Which payment gateways can you integrate?

Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Cashfree, PayU, and most gateways with a documented API. For Indian stores that usually means UPI, netbanking, cards, and wallets through a single gateway. We verify payments via webhooks rather than trusting the browser redirect.

Will the store work well on mobile?

It is built mobile-first, because that is where most e-commerce traffic in India comes from. Layout, checkout flow, and image loading are designed for a phone first and scaled up to desktop, not the other way around.

Can you migrate my existing store without losing Google rankings?

Yes, and this is worth doing carefully. We map every old URL to its new equivalent with 301 redirects, preserve product page structure, and keep metadata intact. Rankings usually dip briefly during reindexing and recover. Migrating without redirects is how sites lose their traffic permanently.
